Breaded Chicken Strips
 
Ingredients: 1 lb of chicken cut in strips
                    1 1/2 cups of flour
                    Southern Seasoning Salt (recipe is below)
                    1 cup buttermilk
                    oil or shortening 
                    
                    
Sprinkle chicken with seasoning salt, dip in buttermilk and dredge it in flour. Heat the oil on medium high and fry the chicken until it browns.

Southern Seasoning Salt
 
Ingredients: 2 tablespoons salt
                    2 tablespoons pepper
                    2 tablespoons onion powder
                    2 tablespoons garlic powder
 
Mix all ingredients and pour into a shaker, We use it in most of our recipes.

Easy Macaroni and Cheese
 
Ingredients: 1 8 ounce box of macaroni noodles
                      24 to 32 ounces of colby or cheddar cheese
                      1 egg
                      1 8 ounce can of evaporated milk
                      salt and pepper to taste
 
Cook noodles and drain. Pour noodles into a cassarole pan. Grate cheese. Beat egg and add evaporated milk. Stir milk into noodles, add a layer of cheese and mix into the noodles. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, and stir in. Coat the macaroni mixture with a thick layer of cheese,  and bake until it begins to brown in a 450 degree oven.
